Advice to someone to eat healthier on a budget.

Advice to someone to eat healthier on a budget.

I think for someone to be able to eat healthier and being on a budget they would have to buy the right set of foods that there pocket can handle. In other words they would have to spend very wisely. Most people tend to spend money on the things that aren’t that healthy because either they figure it’s cheaper or it’s saving more money for them or maybe they just don’t really think about eating healthier. With the way prices are on food items that are much healthier it’s very expensive to buy, but if you come to some kind of wise thinking of how you’re going to spend your money then you should have no problem going on the healthier side of things.
Eating healthier is a better choice so why not start now. Everyone needs money but being healthy is a better choice in life. If it means spending then with all means you’re better off spending to eat healthy. Money is tight with everyone at some point but you just have to know how to spend wisely and what to buy without buying things that you don’t need. Most supermarkets would have the right items you need at a certain price but you can afford it if you set aside what you really need or want on a grocery list.

Sometimes making a list of things you need before making a food shopping trip can help. It’s less confusing when you enter the store to get your goods. I think the Grocery list helps especially if you cross out the things on the list that you know you definitely don’t need. If there’s kids involve like suppose you’re a parent then sometimes it’s better to cut down on some usually items that you would normally buy in order to buy the healthier item. You would be getting your money’s worth while eating healthy. You can also cut down on buying toys and things like that for the kids so you can spend better on healthier foods for the family.

The way the food industry is today it’s so non- healthy in the way they produce their food. If people really realize what they’re eating soon everyone will be turning towards eating healthier. Money doesn’t grow on tree but if you take the right steps on spending wise like cutting down on certain things that you buy then eating healthier wouldn’t cause money conflict. If you have a family to take care of money can also be an issue like buying clothes for the kids and taking care of other needs. Money would come in handy if you come to some kind of agreement on spending better.

All it takes in order to eat healthier on a budget is cutting down on certain things that you would buy on a daily basic so that you can buy things that are actually good for you. You can make sacrifices with your money just by spending less but buying the right set of foods in order to be healthy. Eating healthy comes with a price but it’s better than spending less and having to be non healthy.

Food Inc.

In the movie that we saw in class I think this movie opened up our eyes a little more on what we eat. In the movie it showed how the things we eat gets from one destination to another. Many people dont really seem to be aware of what they eat because usually we think what were eating is safe and secure I guess. The food administrators should really be aware of what we as people consume. It’s sad how people die from food poisoning with the lack of unsecure foods. The movie relates to real life because every day we buy things whether it’s from a grocery store or at a fast food place like Mc Donald’s, burger king, or even Wendy’s. Mc Donald’s is the largest purchase of ground beef the company should be more aware of what they’re selling to their customers and make a little more effort to have healthier meals on the menu. The way the animals were treated was crazy, the cows being slaughtered was an awful site to see. Many of the chickens get over produced in the way of their growth form so they can hatch faster and put out to get shipped out. I think I have a better understanding of how the food processing works and to be honest its weird in a way but I think what matters most is how you eat and what you eat. Eating healthier will always be a good choice no matter how much it cost you. I usually try not to have a lot of those fast food meals so now I tend to find myself moving closer to the healthier choices in what I eat. Eating better is not only healthy but it’s a better choice of being able to live better.
